For years, the Software and Computer Engineering Society (SCE) has fostered a community between Software and Computer Engineering students at San Jose State with the vision to expose future generations to technologies, opportunities, and connections not typically provided in classrooms. We offer hands-on experience in hardware and software development to our officers and provide a learning environment for our club members in our engineering clubroom which is equipped with monitors, desks, a hardware hacking station, and more tools that can be utilized for engineering development. Along the way, our organization has also extended an invitation for other majors to join, especially those majoring in computer science.

Throughout the years, we offer events, workshops, and programs that embody our four pillars; Cultural, Community & Political Affairs, Social, and Academic. Our programs include Internship, PCN, and KAAMP. This foundation has educated, challenged, and inspired generations of members to uphold the Pillars of our organization. For over 40 years, we continue to promote inclusive spaces where members feel a sense of community, identity, and home.
The purpose of the Computer Science Club is to create a space for students to connect and grow their technical skills outside of the classroom. This includes providing personal and professional development workshops, giving students opportunities to put impressive projects on their résumés, conducting mock interviews, hosting company tours, and connecting students with more professionals in the industry. Whether you just want to know what coding is, or need help getting an internship, everyone is welcome in the CS Club!
Indian Student Organization (ISO) offers academic advising as well as social and cultural support to Indian students at San Jose State University who have recently been admitted as well as those who are currently enrolled. Along with organizing sporting events like cricket competitions, ISO also organizes cultural celebrations like Holi, Navratri, and Diwali. We work hard to maintain a sense of community among Indian students at San Jose State University and to help them flourish there.
